January 27, 2012 at 10:45 pm, El Dorado County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a suspicious black Mercedes sedan vehicle because it was slowly driving through neighborhoods in the area of Mormon Island and Lake Ridge Oaks located in El Dorado Hills. The above subjects were contacted by deputies and it was determined all three of the subjects were on either parole or probation. Deputies searched the vehicle and located several items but could not determine if the items were stolen at the time of investigation. Deputies released the three subjects after their investigation.
Later that night a burglary was reported in the area of Cameron Park and the items stolen from the victim’s residence matched items which were in the suspect’s vehicle hours before.
February 2, 2012, Sheriff’s detectives followed up on the deputies’ initial investigation and responded to Jason Rogers’ home to perform a parole search. During the search detectives discovered a large amount of stolen property. Due to the amount of stolen property detectives contacted neighboring law enforcement agencies to in an attempt to match stolen property with unsolved burglary cases in their jurisdictions.
Based on the detective’s investigation, burglary arrest warrants have been issued for Jacob Mack and Mark William. If you have information of their whereabouts please contact your local law enforcement agency.
