About Us…

The Risk Management Division provides internal financial and insurance services for El Dorado County, including support for the programs listed above. Our approach to risk management involves a balanced mix of retained risk self-insurance with risk transfer through insurance purchases. While providing the financial resources to assist the County to recover from accidental losses, we work to reduce the County’s cost of risk by supporting loss prevention measures in all County operations.
