El Dorado County Connections - One Stop offers many FREE services and resources to help with starting a business, growing, improving, and achieving your goals. These include assistance with:
Registering for access to CalJOBS. Through CalJOBS, you can review resumes and locate candidates, then contact them directly to set up interviews. - Locating the most qualified job candidates. In some cases, we can assist by pre-screening job applicants and referring only those candidates who meet the job qualifications.
- Interview facilities. If you prefer to conduct interviews at an off-site location, Connections - One Stop has interview rooms available.
- The latest information on tax credits. You may be eligible to receive a federal tax credit if the employee you hire is a member of a designated target group.
- On-the-job training. You may be reimbursed for up to one-half of a qualified employee’s wages while being trained on the job.
Business loans. Our loan representative can help you find the perfect loan to fit your needs.
- Business counseling. Counseling is available on a wide range of topics which can help you with your business.
Workshops and seminars. Connections - One Stop offers sessions for both employers and employees to enhance skills.- Labor market information. Current information for El Dorado County’s labor market.
- Internet Access. Search for information you need on the Internet, even if you don’t have Internet access at your business.
- Downsizing/Lay-off aversion. Assistance is available with both providing information on ways to avert closures/layoffs and helping employees if layoffs are inevitable.
