New South Lake Tahoe lobby walk-in hours for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (closed Wednesday mornings) are 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, weather permitting. Monday through Friday afternoons are available by appointment only from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm, weather permitting. Appointments can be made by calling 530-621-5315.

Placerville public counter office hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Wednesday.
New features of the counter hours are permit applications and issuances by appointment only, from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm, scheduled in half hour increments. Same day afternoon appointments can now be made via phone or at the counter.
Other business such as; code questions, business license, parcel research, etc. will continue without any appointment necessary.
